Rent2Play Ltd – Bouncy Castle Hire Agreement & Terms and Conditions

Please read the following information carefully. It is the responsibility of the person hiring the equipment (“Hirer”) to ensure all steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the equipment and its users. Rent2Play Ltd and its employees accept no liability for injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from the use of our equipment.


1. Supervision & Responsibility

. Equipment must not be used without adequate supervision.

. Two responsible adults must supervise the inflatable at all times.

. The Hirer is fully responsible for ensuring that safety rules are adhered to.

. In the event of injury, immediately remove all other participants, do not move the injured person, leave the inflatable switched on, dial 999, and report the incident to Rent2Play Ltd.

2. Equipment Use

. Designed for children up to 65kg and under 14 years old, unless specified as adult castles.

. Prohibited items/behaviors: food, drinks, chewing gum, shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges, face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers, silly string, pets, toys, sharp objects, and cigarettes.

. Climbing, hanging, or sitting on walls is strictly forbidden.

. Avoid overcrowding; separate children by age/size to prevent collisions or accidents.

. No acrobatics, somersaults, play fighting, wrestling, or unsafe behaviour.

. Only staff may switch inflatables on or off.


3. Health & Safety

. No use for anyone with back, neck, or heart issues, unwell persons, pregnant persons, or those under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

. Ensure a clear area of 2 metres (6 feet) around the unit. Remove debris, washing lines, toys, and animal waste.

. £50 charge if staff must clear debris; £90 charge for cleaning/disinfecting equipment if contaminated on collection.

. In case of rain, deflate all inflatables not fitted with a cover and dry any wet surfaces before reuse.

. If the inflation device stops working, remove all users immediately, check for blockages, and contact us if the problem persists.

4. Adult Use Policy

. Adults are not permitted on children’s inflatables due to safety and potential damage.

. Adult supervision for children may be minimal but must not compromise the structure.

. £50 retesting charge applies if adults use the inflatable, plus responsibility for any resulting repairs or loss of hire.

5. Wind & Weather

. Equipment must not be used in winds exceeding 20mp/h or in wet conditions.

. Inflate and deflate as instructed in adverse weather.

6. Damage Reporting

. All damages must be reported to staff at delivery or collection.

. Failure to report damages may result in charges up to £1,000 for repairs.

. Accidental damage will not be charged if reported immediately.

7. Cleaning & Hygiene

. Ensure inflatables are kept clean and free from contamination.

. Alcohol or smoking near equipment is prohibited.

. Cleaning charges apply for non-compliance: £50–£90.

8. Liability & Insurance

. All users, use the equipment at their own risk.

. Rent2Play Ltd provides public liability insurance for our operations, but the Hirer is responsible for unsafe practices or dangerous behavior.

. Hirers are advised to have additional insurance for private hire.

9. Declaration

By signing, the Hirer confirms:

  1. The equipment is received in good condition, safe, clean, and fit for purpose.

  2. They have read, understood, and accept all terms and conditions, including financial penalties for damage or soiling.

  3. They accept full responsibility for all users during the hire period.

  4. No refunds or discounts will be provided at the time of hire; financial requests must be submitted.
